  Received a gift for a wine tasting event. So we arrived to a country store where you can purchase produce and other related items. I must say we were surprised at the condition of this store. The wine tasting was at a counter within the store. You shimmy up to the counter where a person gives you a list of wines they produce to sample. They give you a glass and pour a tasting while you are standing and customers are in line to buy their coffee or whatever. There is no history of the wine or the farm, etc. Picture the old westerns where you go to the bar and the bartender pours your drink. Same thing. We did our tasting in less then 10 minutes. By the way, the wine was terrible. At the end you get to chose 2 bottles of wine from a list. Felt so sorry but, we took them because this was a gift. I have never ever experienced a wine tasting like this ever in my life.

  Spent a great afternoon today searching for Easter Eggs and enjoying the animals at the Petting Zoo. Staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout the day. Al (Alfred?) was very friendly and we wanted to offer a special THANK YOU for his hospitality. We appreciate the conversation! See you at the next event.
